NMB Restaurants serving fresh Local Seafood

What are some of the restaurants that serve fresh local seafood?

It is just hard from the advertisements to see if a place actually serves locally caught seafood or not.

I love to support local businesses (the restaurant and fisherman) plus it seems downright silly to go to a place in NMB and get Alaskan kind crab (for example) when you could get local blue crab or local fish that taste even better!

Another vote for Midtown Bistro. Also love Crab Catchers in Little River and The Flying Fish at Barefoot Landing

Agree with above. My favorite two are Flying Fish (no reservations, really good happy hour in the bar area, which includes the tables as well and not just the bar top) and Midtown Bistro (reservation ssuggested). others that serve fresh seafood are Sea Blue(quite expensive!!), Joes Bar and Grill, Duffy's , Sea Captains House (not in NMB but not a far drive, Bimini's on Lake Arrowhead Dr just off of 17.

If your in North Myrtle already its always worth it to drive up to Calabash just over the NC state line. They have off the dock seafood literally. Waterfront Seafood shack is amazing and Ella's (no frills) is one of the best know old school seafood restaurants down there. You can also buy fresh shrimp by the docks where the boats come in.
