XMAS & New Year's Eve in San Pancho

We will be arriving on the 24th of Dec. and staying until Jan.1st. Will restaurants be open the 24th and 25th? Also, we extended our trip a couple days to experience New Year's Eve in Mexico. What can we look forward to that night in San Pancho? Thanks in advance for sharing your San Pancho expertise. So excited about visiting!

many of the restaurants will be open for Christmas eve (when the Mexicans celebrate) and Christmas Day. Also, several of the larger restaurants will hold special New Year's Eve dinners and Panchitos, the bar, is usually open. The last couple of years there has been a street party and dancing in the evening after dinner in front of Baja Takiria. You will find lots of wonderful, low key things to do in San Pancho

Baja Taqueria (AMAZING FOOD) will be having a great party. Also, La Patrona will be having an exhibition and dinner early that evening. I recommend that. We'll be there from Dec 22 thru Jan 2.

This will be our 2nd Christmas and New Years there. You'll love it.

The street party is really fun - all ages, everyone dancing. We've been 3 years in a row. It's become bigger but it's great. Many restaurants close down before the street party happens. Christmas eve seems like everything is open - San Pancho style open that is!

How was your Christmas at San Pancho? We are considering going this year (2016)

We have Airfare now looking for quiet (especially late night) place outside of Puerto Vallarta. Any suggestions?

ThankYou for your time. Alberta,Canada
