Gaidos was our favorite seafood restaurant some years old. Has anyone eaten there recently? Where would you suggest for seafood?
Not as good as it was in the 60's-80's, but still above average.
Still very popular and still good though I don't know if it's a case of it not being as good as it was thirty years ago or simply that other places have caught up. Still better than Landry's, Jimmy's, Nick's but maybe not better than Willie G's or the salt water grill and not as good as Shearn's thought less expensive than Shearn's. We still go at least once a year and I would not think you would go wrong returning to this classic Galveston restaurant.Edited: 07 December 2017, 06:18
Eat there about a year ago, The Red Fish with Beurre Blanc is excellent.
