We are planning a trip to Niagara Falls the first week of October and now we are considering a small New England tour too. If we drive from Niagara Falls to Burlington...then on to Waterbury....then to The Cog in Britton Woods... Will this area be scenic and interesting before the fall foliage starts?? Are road conditions generally good this time of year? Any tips or suggestions? We are not familiar with this area.
Also, as for “attractions/stops” ... We will loop around to make sure we take a ferry into Vermont, go to the Ben & Jerry Factory, take The Cog, and possibly stop by the Fryeburg, ME fair that week. Any suggestions for other must-sees, attractions, or pit stops to consider?
