Norwich VT - HELP!! Things to do.

We are coming to Norwich next weekend and are looking for things to do. We are trying to set up some wine or beer tastings if there are some good place within the area that we have not tried. We re traveling from Massachusetts so we are willing to make stop for fun things or tastings along the way. Its time away from the kids so we are just looking to enjoy ourselves.

There is a brewpub at the Norwich Inn. http://www.norwichinn.com/brewery/

Also, in nearby White River Junction is River Roost Brewery which is getting great reviews.

Big Fatty's BBQ next to River Roost has a great tap list if you want to try brews from other VT brewers.

Other stuff to do:

Go across the river to Hanover NH and check out its nice small downtown and Dartmouth College. Drive over to Woodstock, VT. Visit VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Science). King Arthur Flour. See if there is a concert at the Lebanon Opera House.

Have fun!
