Pili mai

Has anyone stayed here (pili mai) or know about it?

Looking at unit 11a.

Is it within walking distance from the beach?

Good location?

Thanks

That would be a REALLY long walk.

My opinion is its not a good location. It has some bells and whistles, but not my cup of tea. It reminds me of condos on the Big Island or an apartment complex near my house. Also there is construction near 11.

They are very different.... I like both properties for different reasons.

KP is on the best beach and has lovely grounds. Downside is their pool which is across the main street. These are older and smaller units. Some are nicer than others. If you are a beach person, choose this location.

KL is brand new and has bells and whistles if that is what you are seeking. Most of the units look the same but are different sizes. They just added a gorgeous pool. Downside is views are distant ocean and its a 10-12 min walk to the beach or a 2 minute drive.

We're staying at Koloa Landing for the 1st time in November. Our unit is in Building 6, which is closest to the ocean but still looks out over a few homes on Hoonani Road. There is a path to get to the road but then it's about 1/2 mile to the beach (where Kiahuna Plantation is located) about 10-12 minutes. I've been wanting to stay there, especially now that the pool is finished.

The pool at Koloa looks amazing.

Do you recommend doing a full 5 days in Poipu or what if we did two nights in Princeville, three in Poipu?

It seems like most condos have a 5 night min.

I personally would not split your stay with only 5 nights. It's very easy to drive to the side of the island. When are you coming? I booked my condo at Koloa Landing through The Parrish Collection.

In May, you could stay in either location. We also love Hanalei Bay Resort in Princeville and stayed there in May 2015. It looks like the condo we stayed at is booked but check out The Parrish Collection or Summit Pacific for HBR units.

For Kiahuna Plantation, I really like this condo but it's too small for us right now since we drag our 2 teenage boys with us to Kauai! ;)

Martik. We booked that unit from Parish a few years ago. If it's still the same one/owners, it was very nice. You will love it!

Don't split a 5 night stay.

Take one day to fully explore the North Shore.
