Good hotel for jags game

hey everyone coming down in Dec for a jags game finally ( have always wanted to see my jags play at the bank) what good hotels are in the area of ever bank? Is ever bank and the riverfront near each other and is the area safe to be in?

Also are there any good places for Jags merchandise, sadly here in Jersey all we get is the Jets and giants crap.

Thanks

Dustin

This is a map of downtown Jacksonville showing the only hotels in that area: hotelguides.com/district-maps/florida/map-ho…

There is a pedestrian walk along both sides of the river in the downtown area. Jacksonville Landing is on the river near Hotel #1, the Omni. You will find Jag's merchandise for sale there. And it's a party place on game days.

The dotted line crossing the river is the route of the water taxi which you can take from the south bank over to the stadium. Or you can walk across the bridge and to the stadium.

The area close to the river is safe. Would not wander far north of the immediate river area. There should be lots of game goers around.

Enjoy the game!

Nice map. #2 is the closest for walking. You can also use the http://www.jaxrivertaxi.com/ if you stay on the Southbank side of the river. Not much in the way of bars around the stadium, but tailgating around the stadium is plentiful. http://www.boldcitybrigade.com/ is a welcoming bunch. They do away games every year too.

www.fanatics.com/NFL_Jacksonville_Jaguars based in Jax, has a nice selection, along with the stadium store.

The Landing is gotten a bit tired, though http://www.fionnmacs.com/ is usually pretty good.

There are many other food and drink options on both side of the river. Let us know what you like. Will you have a car?

Hi Guys

To jump on the back of the this topic. I've just got tickets for the Jags v Dolphins game. Please could you advise of the best places for parking. We'll be coming in from Tallahassee and then driving upto Savannah after the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Fellow Jags fans. The only hotels listed are the wyndrum, hyatt, crowne plaza and Omni. Are there other hotels that I should look at? I will have a rental and what to stay close to the happening area, also would rather water taxi it to ever bank than drive but will drive if it means better choices.

Did also wanna see the Jacksonville zoo.

Thanks everyone

jaguars06 - That map shows the only hotels in downtown Jacksonville. In addition to the 4 you mentioned, it also shows Hampton Inn, Extended Stay America, and Homewood Suites. There are other hotels 20 minutes away at the airport. And there are lots of hotels scattered throughout other parts of town and at the Beach.

Hi Liam,

There are 43,000 parking places in downtown Jacksonville so there are plenty of choices in terms of location and price. In addition to locations shown on the map that follows, there are parking lots all around Ever Bank Field, Metropolitan Park, and the Arena in that corner of the city. Here's a map of parking lots and buildings: downtownjacksonville.org/GettingAroundJackso…
