Jax Beach / PVB shopping

Is there a nice shopping area or outdoor mall in Jax Beach or PV Beach? Wife and I are coming in town for the golf tournament and will have some time Wednesday afternoon to do some shopping.

Thanks for your time

Hello Palmetto,

There are small stores in short strip malls scattered through the beach cities, most on or just off A1A.

For big malls there is The Avenues if you would like to be indoors and in air conditioning, and "Town Center" if you are content to wander around outdoors. Shopping in the old city of St. Augustine can be fun and it's just a piece down the road from TPC! You need to visit St. Augustine while you are here if you haven't been there.

Thanks for the reply Spirit. We'll try to make it to St Augustine.

If you have a free afternoon and evening, St. Augustine would definitely be my recommendation, too. The shops are delightful and there are some great restaurants. Just look for St. George Street, park your car somewhere nearby and it's very walkable (no cars on St. George St.). For a great place to have a drink and appetizer (they serve sandwiches, too), head to the rooftop of the San Sebastian Winery (it's very close to St. George Street but you'd want to drive over, probably). It's delightful, especially at sunset.

Enjoy your trip!
