Night stopover in Anchorage with an RV

We're stopping for one night in Anchorage on 9/6 before leaving for Seward next day after RV camping for a week in Denali NP. The RV needs to be returned at GAH on 9/7 in the morning and then we head out. Anyone have good suggestions for a decent RV park we could spend the night or maybe perhaps a hotel which allows us to park the RV for the night ?

You could always boondock in the Cabelas parking lot...

Will have a kid in tow so would like to avoid parking lots if at all possible. Plus we will be returning from a week of camping so the family will probably like a hot shower and a decent meal if possible :-)

How about Big Bear RV Park near Wasilla? Reviews here: www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/alaska/wasilla . Has shower & laundry facilities, nice view. It's just a few miles past Wasilla, about an hour's drive the next morning to Anchorage. Maybe AKStafford can mention a couple of his favorite eateries in the area if you let him know the type of meal you'd like and price range. Also you're close to shopping if you want a few souvenirs (last time I was there the WalMart had some items I hadn't seen elsewhere).

If you can tolerate an 'ok' (not great) RV park, then you might find the Golden Nugget appropriate (see: http://goldennuggetcamperpark.com/ ). They have showers, wifi (slow); and nearby parks. There's also a Costco and a Denny's within walking distance.

Centennial Park Campground.

Did a drive through a couple weeks ago. Looked really nice. Friendly staff. Appears kid friendly.

Try to get the spaces the furthest from the highway due to possible traffic noise.

I would stay there with my family.
