Hi all. I know this has been asked before and I've read posts on where we can possibly try, but wanted to ask if anyone knows the nearest town or place we can drive to, outside of Yosemite, to get reliable wi-fi. Just found out our adult son will have two required Zoom meetings while we are on vacation June 2-8, so we are willing to let him take our car and drive somewhere to access it. If anyone has ideas, please share and thanks.
Wifi or phone signal? If phone, my suggestion is to test out various locations on your way into the park. Wifi, I have no idea.

11 helpful votes If you can get cellular phone service in Yosemite, you could see if your provider lets you set up an internet hot spot with your phone.
We were just in the park and the only place we had service (ATT) and saw others on their computers was in Yosemite Village at Degnans Deli. I would check your connection there before making the drive all the way out. A worker told us that the ATT tower is there, so it also depends on which carrier you have if you use your phone as a hotspot.
I have Verizon and go most summers but not this year. Coverage getting better each year but not good enough for full Zoom. Last summer I had several Zoom and Teams meeting. Hotel (Yosemite Valley Lodge) wifi sucked so had to use Verizon. Only able to see screen maybe 40% of the time. Ended up just dialing in for audio.
