Yosemite - where to stay for 2 nights in August?

I am planning my honeymoon at the moment for August and we are doing a round road trip from San Francisco to Yosemite to Vegas to Monument Valley to Grand Canyon and then back to SF via LA.

I would like your advice on where is the best place to stay for 2 nights in Yosemite. We are not very fussy people. I was looking at Curry Village and the tents look fun. As we are not staying very long we would like to stay somewhere where we can do a lot of activities.

All advice welcome - Cheers ;-)

Curry Village is a great choice for folks who want to be in the midst of everything, don't mind modified tent camping, and have an adventuresome spirit.

Read the Trip Reports & Itineraries linked in the upper right for ideas about what you might like to do in Yosemite in August. I assume you'll be exiting via Tioga Road.

Happy Honeymooning!

Anything in Yosemite Valley will meet your conveniece criteria and only the Ahwahnee is a bit "fussy"

Have a great honeymoon trip!
