Looking at first time holiday to Costa Rica

Hi people! I'm looking at booking a holiday for next year, costa Rica has caught my eye. Can anyone help with times of year to go? I was looking at September time, but hard see what the climate will be like as I see its very different across the country.

Hotel wise I like the look of secrets papagayo as adults inky is something I'm looking for, and I stayed at a secrets resort in Mexico that was fantastic.

Any guidance, hints, advice you can offer would be greatly received!!

Thanks in advance.

See Sept. weather in CR - costa-rica-guide.com/travel/… .

The weather should be sunnier in S. Caribbean. Consider Cahuita, Punta Uva, Manzanillo (Limon province). See https:/…transport-to-puerto-viejo.php for how to get there, accommodations, etc.

There are no AI resorts there. They r mostly located in Guanacaste. Lots of visitors to CR do their own vacations, not just stay in resorts for the entire duration, but if you want to see various AI resorts - there r plenty of reviews on TA, as well as I find this site useful due to the way the hotels are organized by categories- https://www.anywhere.com/costa-rica/hotels .
