Hikes and attractions questions

Hi everyone,

Weare planning a day trip to valle de anton from panama city. I have a few questions.

1: How long are the La India Dormida (Sleeping Indian) and Sendero Gaital hikes? What is the difference between them? Are they free?

2: Where can we get good local food?

3: Will we have time to see waterfalls and rock carvings after the hikes?

4: How long do we need to see a waterfall?

5: Are there any must do sites we are not considering?

Thanks

AJ

The trails aren't free, you have to pay a small fee at the trailhead. You can see more info about both here:

You can see waterfalls and rock carvings on the way to India Dormida. They're right on the trail. If you want to see the Chorro Macho waterfall, which is the tallest and most impressive one, that's somewhat close to the Gaital trailhead.

I recommend the zoo. Nothing fancy but very relaxing. As for the food we followed Ta's recommendations and ate some simple but good food!
