There is a Tamndua Biological Station in Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rico so that should be the place with best chances to see this night dwelling animal. Check also this link: www.thenighttour.com/alien2/tamandua.htm

Probably Carara area, or the Osa, but they are widespread. You will have to be lucky though--I would not base your trip on it happening.
Agree they are all over…but hard to see …sorry!
