Elderly

Can anyone please advise if Puerto del Mogan is suitable for the elderly. My mother will be accompanying my sister and I and she uses a rollator. Thanks

I would say, Yes, very suitable as a lot of it is one level. Obviously the odd step here and there like anywhere but I think it’ll be a good choice.

Definitely the majority of the resort is flat, it is fairly compact too.

Thanks for replying. Do you know, if I booked a flat near the beach, would it be far to walk to the centre. Thanks

As mentioned before Mogan is a very compact resort there is not really a "centre" as such there are many shops, restaurants cafes etc dotted all over if you don't stop to look at anything you could probably walk around the perimeter in an hour or so

A flat by the beach or Marina would be a good location.

For someone with normal mobility it would take between about 10-15 minutes to walk from the farthest point on the beach promenade to walk through the Marina into the working harbour.

Most the facilities are in these areas.

If you have seen a flat near the beach you like, I would book it, you would have plenty of shops, restaurants etc on your doorstep.
