Hi KB2,

Hope you had a fabulous holiday - how did the " Smidge that Midge" repellent work out?

We were only there for 2 weeks lol but found Incognito Mozzie spray worked very well, smelled nice and didn't stain clothes, we got a few bites but think it was on small areas missed and maybe red ant bites too.

Our favourite restaurant was Orato in the hills for those who have a car, otherwise Ellies in Ag Nik or Liastres in Stoupa.

I wrote a review for it listed under restaurants in Ag Nik.

On the main road drive towards Ag Nik, shortly before the first right turning to Ag Nik, opposite some apartments called Sunset I think with a big arch, there is a left hand turn, take this, there is a sign for Orato that is lit up at night. The road is mostly tarmaced or concrete with only a few big potholes, just follow it around don't turn off, about a mile. They do have a website but seems to be down at the mo so read all the reviews.

www.orato-village-restaurant.gr

It's much better food than on the coast, more gourmet and of course a panoramic view.

I think there are 4 villas all with private pools and of course that view. We stayed just below them on the hill in Sunset villa 2, would highly recommend.

Gosh, those villas look amazing - Unfortunately we don't like to drive when abroad but I think somewhere like this could change our minds!

1st question ........Yes we do get a scooter - we use Moto Steki on the top road near the Bakery - good prices. price varies on which scooter you have and we had one for three weeks so got a decent price due to long rental.

have contact numbers if you want them

Sunbeds are free mostly so long as you buy a drink or food as most are run by the taverna/bar owners. the only ones which we did have to pay for drink or not were on Kalogria
