Best Options For Public Transport

We've booked a long weekend in Sunbury for late May. Plan to do Windsor, Twickenham (for a match), Kew Gardens and central London on consecutive days. Other than central London we'll be travelling there and walking around. Central London we will be hopping on and off the tube but probably no more than 2 or 3 journeys within zone 1

What's the best (cheapest) option for travel. Oyster? Daily passes?

There are 2 adults and an 11 year old.

1. Re: Best Options For Public Transport

There is a mainline ( South Western) train station in sunbury, trains to Waterloo every half hour ( 15 and 45 mins past the hour) best option for London is the one day travel card, which gives you unlimited travel on trains buses and tube services ( be careful of peak times)

There are buses from sunbury to Twickenham (290) and to Kingston(including Hampton Court) (216) both of which require Oyster or contactless payment card for each person travelling.

One day bus passes are available at local shops prcied at £5.00

Hope this helps
