Transfers from male to Herathera island

Can you advise me on best way to transfer from Male airport to Canareef resort on Herathera.

I have been told I can go by speedboat and also told by domestic flight to Gan which is expensive.

You must take a domestic flight and THEN a speedboat. There is no other way. It's 500km away from Male.

The alternative would be to fly directly to Gan (Addu Atoll) from Sri Lanka. At this point only SriLankan Airlines offer international flights to Gan. There have been some charter flights from Europe in the past, but I don't know these days.
