“Awful experience, will never use again”
Review of Sky Airline

Travelled on an internal flight between the airports which had been booked via a travel agency. We were charged for additional hold baggage when we had already had this included in our original booking. Contacted the airline and after 2 months were told it was because our baggage was overweight/sized even though it wasn’t. We were told at the check in desk that we didn’t have luggage booked and therefore we needed to pay for it. Complained again, another month wait to be told sort it out with the travel agent even though we paid the airline. Would avoid at all costs, they make up the rules as they go along

Péssima companhia. O vôo e os aviões estão em ordem, mas tivemos gastos extras por desonestidade da empresa: compramos bagagens antecipadas e ao chegarmos para despache tivemos que pagar novamente. Na volta, um funcionário buscou bagagens de mãos extras em todos os passageiros que aguardavam para que pudessem cobrar por qualquer bolsa considerada adicional. O baixo preço das bagagens não compensa no fim das contas. Como diz no ditado brasileiro "é o barato que sai caro".

English:
Terrible airline. The flight and planes are fine, but we had extra expenses due to the company's dishonesty: we purchased baggage in advance, and upon check-in, we were charged again. On the return flight, an employee went around collecting extra carry-on bags from all passengers waiting to charge for any bag deemed additional. The low baggage prices are not worth it in the end. As the Brazilian saying goes, "cheap ends up being expensive."

El vuelo y los aviones están bien, pero tuvimos gastos extras por la deshonestidad de la empresa: compramos equipaje por adelantado y, al llegar para despachar, tuvimos que pagar nuevamente. En el regreso, un empleado revisó el equipaje de mano extra de todos los pasajeros que esperaban, para cobrar por cualquier bolsa considerada adicional. Al final, los precios bajos del equipaje no valen la pena. Como dice el dicho brasileño, "lo barato sale caro".

The size of the carry on luggage is significantly small, so small that if your luggage has wheels, for sure it will Not fit and they will charge you 70 US dollars to check it in. Not worth it, never again. It should be illegal that they make up their own sizing rules and overpass the international sizing regulation. It’s a rip off of an airline. Not even worth the discount cause the service is terrible! Before, during and after the flight

As an international traveler, my experience with SKY Airlines was deeply unsatisfactory. After an abrupt rescheduling of our flight, which disrupted our travel plans significantly, SKY's response was profoundly lacking. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the financial burdens this caused—such as needing to book an expensive last-minute flight to adhere to our non-refundable hotel and car reservations—SKY's compensation was a mere $99 USD per passenger, nowhere near covering the actual expenses incurred.

It felt as though my non-Chilean/South American origin was used against me, receiving minimal attention and inadequate resolutions that seemed to dismiss the gravity of my concerns. This handling not only shows a disregard for non-local passengers but also a serious lack in customer service efficacy and empathy.

I am left with no choice but to advise international travelers to think twice before booking with SKY, as the airline has shown a disinterest in providing fair treatment and adequate support in times of need.

note for Trip Advisor - it was impossible to choose my flight connection Puerto Natales to Santiago de Chile - so if you are able to do it please correct it

Sky airlines lost my luggage and their customer service is the most disrespectful and rude representatives I’ve ever encountered. They are very incompetent and couldn’t tell me whether my luggage was loaded on the flight or not. They did not respond to multiple calls and messages. When they finally answered my calls, they spoke for 2 mins and abruptly hung up on me. Did not give me any response on whether my luggage was located. I’ve been trying to get in touch with them but they don’t answer calls or messages. Worst airline ever with the most incompetent set of employees.
