This Airline charged me $417 for excess baggage when I didn't even check in a bag because all I took was carry on. Absolute crooks

Plane is narrow, no room for feet.
Very bad service. They ruined the last day of our vacation.
We had to go through a strict security check for no good reason (apparently because we are arab christians) at Catania airport on our way back home. And even though I mentioned in the flight details that I was pregnant, their staff members ignored this fact and did not even offer me to have a seat or rest while they were doing the check up. In addition, when the staff was asked to identify themselves, they refused. This very terrible experience caused me contractions in my uterus for long hours, unbearable back and leg pain and a crazy headache. Wouldn’t recommend to travel with them at all!!!!!
PROS
* Short and basic decent flights
* Presumably low cost
CONS
* Basic service without food nor entertainment nor reading material
* The routes are "only" from TLV to Eilat, UAE and a number of places in Europe
* Older airplane and seats do not recline
"I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... when I returned from a long weekend in Athens to Tel Aviv. This airline presented the least expensive option from among the Israeli and Greek options.
There were three "glitches":
First, the Greek security agent was new and didn't/couldn't understand how I could have two passports (Israeli and other) with different names. He retreated to consult with the Israeli security agent who glanced from a distance at me for a second and approved my documents.
Second, the Greek desk check in purser said that it was a full flight and that I would have to "check" my carry-on suitcase in storage AND that I had not paid the USD$30 for a carry on anyway (of course I had), and he saw no record of it. He was going to charge at least USD$60. I frantically fumbled through my emails from Israir and came across an offer to buy a checked bag for USD$60. I showed that to him, and since he doesn't read Hebrew and only saw the Israir insignia and the USD$60, he accepted that I had paid.
The flight was delayed and there was one person standing in the crowd vehemently and repeatedly trying to inflame other fellow passengers with political arguments. Luckily, he never approached me nor did he sit anywhere near me. I want to commend the Athens ground crew of Israir at the gate, who calmed this person.
The flight and landing were OK although somewhat late.
WAS IT WORTH THE COST?
Yes, especially compared to other options; it is not the least expensive that I've ever seen for that route, but it was purchased at the "last minute"
WOULD "I VISIT THIS PLACE" AGAIN?
It all depends on price
ADVICE
"If the price fits, fly it"
They sent us a change time messages 3 times in three weeks. today, tao days befor the flight they sent us change time and change of destination to Larnaca airport. every flight with this company become a nightmare. pay few more dolars and fly with a real airways !

"I VISITED THIS PLACE"...
... because it seemed to be the least expensive option for a last-minute long weekend in Athens, Greece. The flight had a quick quiet on time departure and arrival and it was a smooth flight. Any more questions?
