This was our first cruise and will likely be our last. I’ve literally had gas station food better than what they were serving on the buffet and the dinning room. Meats were tough and bland, sides were either over cooked or saturated in grease, and the deserts were dried out. The ice cream machines were broke down or empty. And the flies! We thought booze would make it better but they water it down so much and they serve so slow we never got a buzz. I’m a lightweight at home and we were hitting drinks back to back for an Hour and nothing. The only food/ drinks that were decent was from the steakhouse. Awesome food. But that was one meal and it was $48/person extra. We decided to stay on ship the whole time because of the lines and chaos of folks trying to figure out how to get off the ship. The only thing the ship had going on was trivia. Six hours+ of trivia. Every. Single. Day. They had shows and a comedy thing but they didn’t start until after 8:30pm and they were so full we couldn’t have gotten a seat. They have a casino but it’s only open in the evening. We just walked through on our way to the shops and I smelled like an ashtray the rest of the night. Make sure you bring anything you need with you. They have one shelf of “essentials” in one shop and they’re only open 5:30-9pm. If you need aspirin or anything you’ll have to wait. The best part of the whole trip was the window in our room and getting to watch the storms we went through. Don’t take Carnival and stay away from the Liberty!…

Carnival has gone downhill! You purchase a drink package guess what you can't have a water and soda at the same time? Who does that? Oh you buy a drink package for your children guess what they have to go to the bar they will never be in competition with royal Caribbean they are not a family ship. Oh you want food after 11:00 you better wait in line for hours because they have one place open. Spend a couple extra $100 and find a different Cruise Line we are so disappointed from 2018 to 2023...they have gone down hill....runnnnnnnn save your money. Everyone who I've complained to says that Royal Caribbean is better Norwegian and princess we will be traveling with others going forward!…

This was my worst experience, the first night everyone aboard was sick from the swaying of the ship. Carnival’s captain knew we were in for bad weather and still took us. The next day we were suppose to dock and didn’t again due to bad. weather. We paid to stop in two ports & only stopped at one. There should have been some sort of compensation. So the cruisers try to have a good time despite the disappointment that we were feeling. DJ Noir was rocking the house 3rd-8th floors. We were midday partying, money being spent & they stopped it for trivia. Which everyone disappeared for. Lmao we didn’t want to do that. So their change of plans for bad weather sucks. Sheridan in guest services is the absolute worst. There is nothing about this young lady that screams this is the career for her. I’ve been in hotel management for 20 years so yes I know what I’m talking about. Her tone doesn’t even emulate as if she’s even willing to assist you. She definitely needs more training. Nice people are suppore to assist guest. She was a bad hire. I wish I never spent my money to live at sea for 3 of 4 day cruise. Bad experiences may you look for other options for vacations. I’ll definitely let everyone I know, know how bad this trip was.…

We booked this cruise a few weeks before departure. It was the only one that fit into our schedule that was available. Thankfully the weather was gorgeous! We really enjoyed the beach. The boat is old and it shows. The food was mediocre at best. The entertainment was less than average. Our son was bored much of the time. Having said this, we did enjoy the relaxation. There was a terrible odor on the first deck mid-ship, like sewage, and it stunk up all the cabins. I placed a towel by the bottom of my door to help keep the smell out. They should never have housed people on the first deck. The food was awful. tasted terrible and very few selections at the buffets. There was not enough seating for people to attend the shows. This ship should be scuttled. The bolts on the railings were all rusted and broken. However, on the plus side, the crew and staff were absolutely great. They were all so very friendly and helpful. Talking with them was one of the highlights of the trip. Nassau was a tourist trap with many people soliciting you while you are just trying enjoy a walk through the city, but I realize this is not Carnival's problem. The 2 reef snorkeling trip was great, the boat crew was great. But during this time of year the water was chilly and it was a little rough on the water. I will be more selective on my next cruise. And I will definitely read reviews.…
