I am writing this review we have not actually done a Disney cruise but we were in the process of booking one, we were going to do a cruise out of Port Canaveral Florida we're all set to book we have done 30 cruises but never have done a Disney cruise, talk to the young lady named Gwen we were all set to go through the entire process of booking them we got to the part we said she had us in a , queen size bed, I told her no no no no I am 6'5 270 lb I need a king size bed she said Disney Cruise lines do not offer king size beds except for concier levels which cost three times more, I said really?! I said there was no way my wife and I could sleep comfortably on a queen size bed for seven nights, the young lady didn't told us that there was a sleeper sofa in the room so I jokingly asked her or you suggested my wife sleeps on the sleeper sofa cuz I'm not that didn't go over too well with us. I have been to Disney Parks many times have no problems riding the rides some of them are specifically designed for big and tall guys like myself my only question in this review is why cannot Disney Cruise lines design a room with a king size bed so my wife and I can sleep comfortably . Like I said we have been on over 30 cruises and have never had a problem with any other Cruise line getting a seat king size bed except for Disney Cruise lines. We are very very disappointed in this!

We had an AMAZING time on this 5 night cruise. It was a mother - daughter (12 year old ) trip, and a second Disney Cruise for both of us. We both had so much fun. She made so many great friends at our dining table, Edge , and around the ship. They formed a group of about 7 girls who bonded quickly and spent much time together all around the ship. We even had a girl from another family end up joining us for dinner a couple of times. In my opinion 12 was a perfect age for this cruise. I enjoyed my cruise long pass to the Rainforest Room. I loved the heated tile chairs, so relaxing, and the 1-2 person jacuzzis overlooking the sea. The gym was nice, also overlooking the ocean. I had a great massage, but way too much time spent trying to sell products after the massage. It was annoying, but I know they have to do it. I really liked the Satellite Falls area of the ship, and preferred it over the other adult area. The Cove Cafe was great for specialty coffee in the morning. The AquaDuck was so much fun! We never went in the other pools at all. The kids pool looked very crowded. The Beauty and the Beast show was amazing! We loved it. We also enjoyed Believe. The family magician show was fun for the kids. Bingo was pricey, but fun. I popped into some adult entertainment which was fun to watch. We tried a family game in D Lounge, which was mostly kids screaming, but they loved it. The baby crawling race was adorable. The Christmas decorations were nice. Castaway Cay was a great stop. We rode bikes to the lookout tower, snorkled (much better snorkling in Maui and other spots), and rented an aquatrike. The aquatrike was very relaxiing and enjoyable. The food on Castaway was not as good as a previous visit. The chicken was overcooked. Since my daughter was spending time with a kid whose family had a cabana, I spent a little time in that area, and it was MUCH nicer, not as crowded. I would consider paying for a cabana in the future for that reason. I never did make it to Serenity (adult beach). We booked the VGT and ended up with Cabin 9016, forward, aft. I was a bit worried about excess motion and motion sickness due to it being so far forward and higher on the ship, but truthfully when the boat was rocking on the two nights it did, it did not matter where you were on the ship because you could feel it everywhere. I did try the scopalmine patch for this cruise, which I highly recommend for anyone who has experienced seasickness in the past. It worked wonderfully as I never felt nauseous or sick, even thought I felt the motion. I was terrible sick on a 2015 cruise on Disney Wonder, so came better prepared this time. This room does not have a bunkbed. The ship is impressive. It's big! There were more events on board than there was time to do them. We did not get off on Nassau and enjoyed the ship. We did not regret this at all. It was a great day. We did not have the best service from our main server. He was a little abrupt and wanted us to order quickly. Some of our orders were wrong and he was difficult to understand and I believe he had difficulty understanding us. The food was mostly good. Other staff was friendly and helpful. The spa and gym staff were fantastic! Everyone there was so nice and helpful. Participating in a Fish Extender group makes it fun too! Make sure you find the Facebook page for your group and sign up. I can't wait to go on our next Disney Cruise!

We have traveled 2 times with the Disney Dream and absolutely love it If you are not a disney fan you really should not book this because the cruise is all about Disney Food is good (better than the parks but not great - it stays Disney food), cabins are nice and cleanliness ok. Staff is extremely friendly Great shows every night Pirate night is also amazing and the stay at Castaway Cay is just so much fun - can you believe Disney has an island??? Can't wait to try the Wish For the day at sea you need to be quick to book your activities

The Disney agent pressed us that we couldn't get off in the Cayman Islands if we didn't have an activity contracted. In the Disney cruise app I booked the Nautilus ride in the Cayman Islands for $54 for adults and $39 for children... Only to get to a ride of less than 1 hour, with a dirty boat, in poor condition, with torn seats and a bad smell. And that after reviewing, the price of that ride is $20 dollars when it cost me $54. Too bad that Disney does these robberies of such poor quality. The pools and slides are not a good option, you lose too much time in line and then finish in 20 seconds. It's just a plain "good" ride, without the Disney quality I was expecting.

The ship was clean and well organized. The Disney Cast Members were friendly and very accommodating. That's the good part. The rest...not so good. Let's start with the dining experience. The dining rooms were gaudy. The tables were too close together. The food was presented nicely but the taste was bland. I tried several different items and various meals. I was disappointed each and every time. The sandwiches and burgers at the "Cars" themed stands were the only meals that I enjoyed. The adult areas of the deck were cramped. The "District" adult area in the ship was "kid friendly" until 10 PM. However, The District was the only place to escape the endless loop of Disney movie themes on the ship. The entertainment was pretty bad. The Beauty and the Beast stage show was good but the other shows were awful. Never again Disney. Never again.
