the quality of food selections in the dining room has been cheapened significantly. everything else was well run but the service in the main dining room was frighteningly bad at breakfast and lunch. it took 2 hours to get eggs for breakfast and the waiter had the nerve to say it always takes extra long if you want eggs. the eggs benedict had less than a half ounce of ham. after 3 days finally gave up on dining room for breakfast and lunch. so disappointing.

We live fairly close to Baltimore, so it is convenient to cruise from there. This ship replaced The Grandeur of the Seas and the two are very similar. We cruised to New England and Nova Scotia, then stayed on the ship for a cruise to Bermuda. Enchantment is beginning to show signs of age but was still a fun ship. I think the cruise lines are experiencing some growing pains as they return to service after the pandemic. Other than a few minor glitches we had a great time!

We had a fantastic time on our 6 night cruise from Baltimore to Bermuda. Cruising out of Baltimore was very easy, but be prepared for a long line in the parking lot and have your luggage ready with tags, because they take it before you get out of the car (we thought this was great). Getting through security, etc, was a breeze and we walked right onto the ship around 12:30pm. Upon boarding the ship, I would say they could've used some more staff at the bars (although - is that intentional on Royal Caribbean's part??), but we were happy that we were able to use our drink package right away, even though we did not have our Sea Pass cards yet. We had a drink and waited until our cabin was ready around 1:30pm. We had an interior stateroom. The bed was comfortable and, while the room was small, we found ourselves to have plenty of room for the 2 of us and our belongings. Our medium sized hard sided suitcases fit under our bed to save some room. Our room attendant was great - always there to ask if we needed anything and kept our room clean and stocked at all times. If you're staying in an interior room I would recommend a night light and a clock, it's very dark! We ate breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer most days, which is typical buffet food (except the avocado on toast - that was delish!). We had breakfast in the main dining room once and preferred Windjammer. We also skipped a big lunch one day and had beef on weck (it was ok) and pizza in the Park Cafe which was located in the Solarium. Our dinners were all on the main dining room and they were great. The portions are smaller so we often ordered multiple starters or entrees and the service was fantastic! It's great after a few nights to build a relationship with the staff! After traveling on a larger ship for our last cruise, we were very happy with the size of this ship. We didn't have kids with us so we didn't need the waterslides and other activities. The pools were small but large enough so that you could take a quick dip to cool off, though I would not have hung out in the main pools (they're busy). We enjoyed the Solarium (adults only area) and did hang out in that pool and used the hot tub. Most times we were able to find 2 chairs together without issue. Bermuda was INCREDIBLE! We were docked there for 2 nights and able to come and go 24/7. We rented an electric Tazzari and explored the island on our own, which I would highly recommend. Our favorite stop was at Tom Moore's Jungle/Blue Hole, but we also enjoyed snorkeling at Church Bay and the Snorkel Park, which is within walking distance from the ship and was only $15pp to get in (additional for snorkel rentals). We would, without a doubt, take this cruise again. I highly recommend the 6 night, not 5, so that you have a whole day in Bermuda. Next time we go back we want to rent a boat, do the jet ski tour, and explore St. George's.

Took the late Aug cruise to Bermuda where you dock 2 nights at the Royal Dockyard. Had a great time. This was my first trip on an older and somewhat smaller (if you can call it that) ship in the RC fleet. First of all if you live between NJ and NC the cruise port in Baltimore is mega convenient. The port is 1 block off of I-95 and you park right next to the ship. Onboard the food, service, and entertainment was all excellent. Try the Chops Grille. The food and service is fantastic (thanks Ricky). This was the happiest and friendliest crew we have experienced. Regarding the ship itself yes you can tell the age of the ship in some areas but in others no issues. Our beds were fine (though not as good as in a better hotel). My wife actually liked the feel of the smaller ship where you can more easily meet other people and get to know the crew. The roughly 2 day port stop in Bermuda is great (though you always want more). The Dockyards has enough to do to kill a half a day and has ferrys that take you direct to Hamilton and St. Georges (though that one was out of commission for a week). I would gladly take this cruise again next year and hope RC keeps this 6 day Bermuda cruise in the future.
