Firefly, flight FY 4111 from Penang to Kuala.
Nice and fast ride back home, with an ontime departure.
Flights are operated with ATR 42 : prop planes.

Unfortunately, when the bag were delivered on KL airport, one of the wheel had been totally pulled apart and was missing, leaving a big hole on my bag.

I lodged a report with their ground staff which happened to be very nice and efficient.

2 choices given to me :
a) 50 ringgint cash immediately for compensation ( 12 euros )
b) A new replacement bag would be provided back to me.

Obviously, I chose b)

I was told that I would receive the bag in 2 weeks time.
After 3 weeks, my bag had not yet been delivered, and I decided to leave that mattter.

Surprisingly, 2 days ago, after maybe 1,5 month, I had the happy surprise to receive a call from a delivery company, for my new bag.

Bag is not of super high grade, but failry good.

So, very happy with the job done by Firefly, and their customer service.

One of the hopeless flight. Always get cancel. Always reroute to other airport. Since government implemented manual landings system so called, always have problem. Guys I guys is not safe to take this flight. Waste time and waste money.

An early morning flight from Penang to Kota Bharu in order to get to the Perhentian Islands. It was a smallish 4 engine turbo prop plane but very smooth in operation. The plight was only one hour but in that time the staff served coffee and biscuits. The flight itself was scenic as we flew over the mountain range and then down into Kota Bharu. Good helpful staff and a smooth checkin. They , like Air Asia also have a self serve kiosk but for some reason our reservation number didn't work on it and we just checked in at the desk , no drama. Would we fly Firefly again ? Yes , no worries .

I've used Firefly quite frequently, be it from Subang to Langkawi, Singapore Seletar (*Yes the new Airport for the Turboprops), Penang, and most recently to Johor Bahru, and they have worked perfectly everytime.

A good flight that was on time. Good price, friendly crew and good complimentary in flight F&B. The cabin however looks a bit tired even though the seat covers had just been changed. Overall a good flight
