Please do not ever fly with Scoot!!!
I was one of them looking at the comments that everyone was saying how terrible Scoot is, but I would still like to give it a try as some of them say Scoot has improved. Consequently, it turns out where I am today, a delay of more than 9 hours of flight. I am beyond disappointed with how they handled our delayed and eventually cancelled our flight. We’ve been stranded at the airport for over nine hours. I’m still currently stuck at the airport. Please expect lack of customer support as we are unable to get a clear information on when it’s our next flight even after 9 hours
This was my first time flying with Scoot, and it was supposed to be a connecting flight to Japan. Our original departure time was set for 7:10 pm, but soon after, the ground staff announced there was a technical issue, pushing the departure to 8:30 pm. When 8:30 rolled around, they announced another delay until 10:00 pm. Not surprisingly, at 10:00, they extended the delay to 11:30 pm.
Then things took a turn for the worse. The ground staff informed us that, due to ongoing technical issues, the flight was cancelled. They promised another flight at 4:00 am, but now it’s 4:00 am, and we’re still stuck at the airport with no follow-up or assistance from Scoot. This experience has been frustrating and exhausting, and Scoot’s lack of support or clear communication has been disappointed.
