The inside of the plan is very warm and hot. Many passengers were fanning themselves. Few passengers had asked why it was so hot.

For context, we few from Singapore to Surabaya for trekking volcanoes, ferried over to Bali, and flew back from Bali to Singapore after spending some time there. There was no problem on the Singapore to Surabaya leg, but we had an unpleasant surprise, and a poor experience on the Bali to Singapore leg.
At the Bali airport, we were informed that Bali airport considers (retractable) trekking poles as dangerous, and requires them to be checked in. Scoot's ground staff made it clear that it wasn't the airline's policy, but the airport's policy. However, at the time of booking, we were not presented with this information, so I never bought any checked-in luggage as my group was backpacking. If we were informed at the time of booking, we would've either not brought the trekking poles or paid for the checked-in luggage early at a cheaper rate; but because we weren't told, we were forced to either throw the poles away, or pay a ridiculously expensive, last-minute fee to check-in just the poles. After contacting Scoot customer service back in Singapore, they were not apologetic, refused both full/partial refund, admitting to no negligence on their part, putting the entire blame on the customer and Bali airport.
My initial flight between VTE and SGP was cancelled due to mechanical fault which I am happy to accept as safety first is important. However, once disembarked from the plane, the communication and support from the Scoot ground staff was really poor. The flight was rescheduled for the following day. However, none of the passengers were offered hotel options (we had to organise ourselves) or transport from the airport (again we had to organise ourselves).
On making my claim for expenses / inconvenience on my return to the UK, I was offered money I had spent (transport, hotel, food etc) but no compensation for inconvenience caused. I had already explored Vientiane so I had nothing new to do except sit in my hotel room, eat and sleep then go back to the airport. No apology from the check-in staff when checking in which made me think either the training given is poor or Scoot do not care about their passengers.
My trip to Singapore was to see my best mate for four days which was cut short to three days so rather than being a relaxed period, everything felt rushed. I wanted to post a review on the Scoot website but it doesn't have this facility.
So I was quite sick from heat exhaustion in the Philippines. I was supposes to go back to Canada via Japan who canceled my flight after notifying them I was sick and specifying it was simply heat related. I was forced to rebook and I ended up taking Scoot to Singapore. I advised the stewardess I needed a barf bag and she was concerned if I was cleared to fly and what my sickness was. I had never flown on Scoot Airlines nor have I ever been to Singapore. It was a late arrival flight. I'm writing this in response to a promise made. I've usually tried to get photos woth airline stewardess because I think it is the best foot forward with remembering Airlines. At first they didn't seem interested as most aren't but I simply explained to them I am sick and this was my first time on Scoot and my first time in Singapore and that I am probably not going to meet anybody in Singapore and I would love to have an actual memory of my first experience with both. They completely accepted my reasoning and said they would gladly do it if I promised to give a good review. Had the experience been bad I would not be writing this review. They gave me a couple group photos of all of together that I am grateful for. They made me feel amazing. Though everyone has there own experience with different airlines. I commend the amazing ladies for the kindness and the memories they left with me. I'd gladly fly Scoot again any time...hopefully not sick next time lol. I don't do social media and I told the girls that. I'd love to share the photos but I do not have there permission. Maybe one day. Definitely based solely on my experience. I whole heartedly recommend Scoot.
Scoot airlines isn't that great considering it's a budget airline, service were ok, food was gassy, seats were kinda uncomfortable for an 8 hour flight. So hnoestly i I were you then just go on a better airline like Qantas or Cathay (800 buck per person via Hong Kong), but if you're really on a budget then you could consider
