“Reschedules a lot and drops your seat selection without telling you”

Scoot reschedules the timing of this flight (Athens to Singapore) a lot. We booked Scoot premium months ahead but few months in they decided to push the flight out by a day. To make things worse, they released out bulkhead Scoot premium seats which we had selected at purchase which we only found out by chance. When we realized that (still within the same day), we were left with only sub-par seats. So obviously after rescheduling, they allowed all passengers to re select seats on first come first serve basis. The call center was unapologetic. It's unacceptable

smallest seats EVER, even in old communist airlines was more space
Although I think I’m not so fat, I could not even put the tray down
Not enough space for luggage, although I was charged extra
If you’re over 1,70,80 kg avoid

I would never endorse anyone to fly scoot. No charging points for devices
No provided in flight meals, you cannot spend more than $20 on debit or credit , if you spend more you have to use Singaporean money. they charge you for water, I was so thirsty in my flight and was almost in tears but they wouldn't sell me water. Luckily one of the staff took pity on me and gave me a bottle but I had to hide it so the staff wouldn't get in trouble. Water is a human right, scoot tears it's passengers terribly .

I'm not gonna write a letter here about all the negatives but I never understood why they have WiFi for us to connect our phones when there's no place to charge their batteries on a 12 hours trip

I never write reviews, I understand that it won't always be perfect, BUT, Scoot was really horrible. 1. Our baggage was delayed, and only got it after 26 hours after TWO TRIPS to the airport because their staff doesn't know what to do. 2. Their insurance partner, MSIG, is a scam. Our claim was denied in the grounds of, "This Policy also covers a One-Way Trip, provided You have purchased the Policy in Singapore and the original point ofdeparture of Your Scheduled Flight is Singapore. Transits at other countries are allowed provided You are confined to thetransit area of the airports in such countries.", STOP SELLING IT ONLINE THEN, and were not even transiting, given their response time of 3 business days, they expect you to just stay in the airport while processing the claim, and no international number you can call. How crazy is that? It's the only airline that had direct flight to that destination from SG, but I will never fly with them anymore.
