Well, flying in Canada in the winter you have to expect delays. Weather specifically. I was delayed two times in Edmonton before we could even take off so my 1 pm flight turned into 6pm departure. The loading at the gate is a disappointment as you are classed by how much you fly and not when you book. More miles? priority seating. Low miles? you are the last to board the aircraft. Seats are the usual and cramped. headphone jacks do not work in a lot of seats so prepare to half-hear what is playing if at all. Service for drinks etc. as business class and closer to the front get served first so prepare to wait and wait. Leaving To was similar but due to the de-icing required it was again delayed 1.5 hours. At least they kept the flight from being cancelled as many more carriers were including West jet. Overall the experience is better than WJ but barely. I guess if you or your company can afford it go business class as there is no first class as far as I can tell. Book ahead and pick your seat. Aisle or window asap to keep yourself up near the front of the Aircraft for better service and deplaning. otherwise you have to stand and wait for everybody ahead of you to get off. The Pilots are good as landing and take off are pretty smooth regardless of weather.
