I was very disappointed with my flights to and from Newfoundland. I paid for Business Class seats because I need the lie back seats. Due to my disability, the Zone 1 boarding line in not applicable. We don't drink, so the lounge is not as desirable. The seats are the sole reason that I book business. AC decided to change planes, and I suddenly realized that I was on a plane that had no business class. My seat was comparable to the Premium Economy. I don't understand how AC can put you in the premium economy seat and charge you the fee of business class. On one of the planes, I didn't even have a seat screen. Even with the extras business class offers, they do not provide free wifi. It seems to me that if they don't provide a seat screen, they should provide free wifi. Although, the downgraded plane and seat is my biggest complaint, I also had to suffer the other typical complaints - the threat of a pilot strike, delayed flights that ended up costing me extra fees in transportation, and their precious business class lounge being closed while we waited the two hours for our flight. There is no direct flight to NL and I was surprised and discouraged to find that the same meal was offered on both flights. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience. It is not fair that they charge business class prices and provide economy priced seats.

Held hostage by Air Canada for 3 days! I experienced 21 delays, cancellations, gate changes in 3 days and cannot get AC to even respond! Suggested I go to small claims court but I’m too old, too poor and too tired to even go there. There’s a 2 year back log at CTA so I’m giving up - YOU WIN AIR CANADA!

I dont know if Janet, the check in Attendant will ever see this but in the event that she does, Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me get home when FLAIR failed in all areas of what an airline should be about. I was very nearly stranded in Edmonton because of their lousy customer service and complete lack of care and professionalism.

Air Canada, please continue to hire people like Janet. Passengers like myself who are at the mercy of airlines like FLAIR can only hope for an experienced and kind employee such as Janet to get us to our destinations with such extreme kindness and empathy.

I will forever be grateful and, will only fly Air Canada in the future.

And the next time I check in with AC Edmonton I'll keep an eye out for Janet to thank her again! ♡

The Best Airline Ever! The crew were friendly, the Entertainment was great, and the plane was in a state of art condition. Keep up the great work!

First check is in zones 1-5 which sounds good until you actually get to your seat and realise the zones have no correlation to the seat numbers and passengers are just everywhere.
Staff are rude and very disrespectful and on our flight were being argumentative with each other on who should be serving aisle passengers. They need to go back to training and find out what customer service entails. Whilst I realise passengers can also be a pain we are paying for the flight and the airline staff are receiving a salary to take care of us and provide us with a pleasant experience. There is only 1 meal served after takeoff on the entire flight and no snacks or water/drinks/tea/coffee given out until about 90 minutes before landing .
Unfortunately this was also the same on the flight out to Vancouver.
I could go on about lack of room etc but it seems all airlines are the same with regards to packing us all in.
If you have a choice avoid Air Canada that is my advice.
