We’ve had nothing but trouble with Air Canada from the start. Originally they didn’t tell us our flight had changed and were due to arrive 12 hours later than original! We only found it when we checked ourselves. They didn’t make it clear about luggage so we phoned three times to check our payment had gone through and we all had a confirmed bag. We were told multiple times (on a recorded line) that yes, we all had baggage. We’re at the airport now and we’ve been made to pay for baggage again for 3/4 people. Even though we had the credit card transactions showing we paid the first time. It’s absolutely appalling, customer service is horrific, and no-one has a clue what they’re doing. I would never fly with this company again and urge people to avoid them. They don’t deserve to be in business.

I usually am not a complainer, but this experience was so bad I had to write a review. Every single air Canada employee working at the Toronto airport had to biggest attitude and was utterly useless and unhelpful. They did not even let me finish asking my questions before interrupting to say there is nothing they can do. However, when I called air Canada the person gave me so many solutions. Especially, this worker named Avanesh, he said our hotel voucher offered after our delay didn't work anymore and was going to let us just walk back to the airport to sit there for 24 hrs. Luckily, we asked another man working there and he said that these are completely valid. So, he lied just because he had an attitude with us. We thought it was just us, but others were also fed up with them. At one point we were in line waiting to get help, and one of the workers came up to us and just rudely said "what do you want" Overall, air Canada needs to work on customer service. I understand things can get overwhelming when there are delays and customers keep coming to you, but we approached them in a calm manner and just needed direction on how to go about our situation. I thought Canadians are nice, but I guess the memo did not reach air Canada!

A few years ago I used Air Canada and they were brilliant, I was looked after with great servcie. So when in need of a flight for business I had no problem booking with them again, how I wish I didn't. They are now the Ryanair of longhaul, the service was terrible, just rude as I had to ask not to be bumped every time the crew went past and one old attendant with glasses shouted at the lady next to me for using the wrong toilet in the dark (another wake up call!), so many people standing around doing nothing rather than help paying customers. Food was good though but don't expect a drink as that would be too much effort. Air Canada ended up cancelling my flight home with no notice a couple of hours the night before so huge panic/stress and delay coming back, lost my extra leg room upgrade, so had to book premium eccomomy when it was not too much trouble to do so in between waiting for flights.

I will never use this airline again as they have lost their customer service.

For some reason Tripadvisor will not let me add Vancouver in their search!

Very rude at check in.. the man in Montreal took my bags and treathen me to have me arrested and not allowed to board the plane,sure and act of powe r and bullying to a foreigner visiting Canada .
would like action taken feel free to contact my complaint also in AC website with my personal info
refrain from bordering aircraft and arrest for a bag REALLY!!!!

Very rude at check in.. she refused my bag as a carry on and I had to pay 40 dollars for the bag!! Everyone on board has bags larger than mine.. ver rude and very unfair
