I fly at least 40 times a year, I used to like Air Canada, in the last 8 months they have been getting bad. But now they exceeded the ability to disrespect their customer. I took an insurance for my flight while booking on Air Canada. They wrongly cancelled my flight, I ended up in Delhi with no flight back. I rebooked with British Airway (great by the way and cheaper) now, AC dosent want to reimburse me AND are pushing me towards the insurance. Which dosent recognize my insurance coverage since AC changed the confirmation number when they cancelled. It is a vicious circle, and a vicious company. Avoid at all cost they just don’t care. By the way Hopper insurance is not much better, even if the ticket number stated the same they decline covering the cancellation, well that was worth paying 367$ for cancellation insurance! Over all I’m loosing 2600$
