“Last leg of our trip was better than some of the other legs”
Review of Alaska Airlines

Reviewed 26 September 2017

The final leg of our 5 flights on Alaska Air for this trip was probably the best. Finally a newer jet, the others were all older ones. We bought food at SeaTac for lunch on the flight so only had free drinks. The flight crew was nice and friendly as most Alaska Air crews are.

This was a super early morning flight out of Juneau. The jet was an older one which is my main gripe with this airline!

Being able to preorder our Tom Douglas hot breakfast was a big plus. We ate and then dozed off.

This flight is short, like 25 minutes and returns to Juneau so maybe they figure they will just clean it up and restock everything when it gets back but that is not right for the price we paid. Not only were things broken like the torn seat pocket in front of us but the jet was dirty from the last fight to Juneau! No attempt to clean the cabin or lavatories!

What a joke!

Well First is always better than coach. The cabin crew were very nice and the flight went as planned. This jet seemed newer than the last one.

Overall the flight was ok, albeit we had paid to upgrade to the Premium Seats when they downgraded our jet to one without those seats so we were crammed in like the rest of economy.

I stowed my wife's and my carry on above the seat and placed my nice fedora style hat on top of my bag only to find when getting things down that the hat must have slid over the back of the bag storage area and into the fuselage of the plane. Crap, that was a $70 hat! FAs were nice and tried to help but to no avail.

Other than that I did find gate and flight crews to be cheerful and friendly
