I am writing this review in regards to American Airlines booking process rather than an actual flight. We were waiting for the booking window to open for our flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico. We flew this same flight in May 2019 (business class), and it was excellent. We wanted to book this flight again for our next trip (May 2020). When our booking window opened, we were disappointed to see the price had increased by several hundred dollars. We were surprised since we had been monitoring costs for several weeks. But we wanted this flight, so we booked it anyway. Shortly after, we were looking at flight costs using another device, and they were several hundred dollars cheaper. For the same exact flight! Luckily American has a 24-hour cancel/full refund policy, so we cancelled and rebooked immediately, and saved several hundred dollars. I am disappointed that we were punished for looking at flights in advance. And we were logged in as Advantage customers during the booking process! Shame on you, American! This is POOR customer service! My advice to travelers: clear your cookies or use a different device/browser when booking with American.
