Boeing 777 – Club World Suite (Business)
I flew BA in their (fairly) new club world suite in February 2023 and before I give you my summary, I’ll let you know that you can check out the full video review at Luxury.Vegan.Travel on YouTube.
For ref, I was in seat 2K – Window to my right and aisle access to my left.
Here is my review….
Service – 5/5
Pro – Excellent! The crew were kind, caring and friendly. They clearly love what they do.
Seat – 4/5
Pro - Fairly comfortable
Pro - Good for (fairly) tall people when fully flat.
Pro – You can close the Suite door after take-off for more privacy.
Pro – Can exit your seat during meal service.
Con – Not the best for people who like to bend their knees while sleeping.
Con – Not the best bedding.
Note – BA introduced this new seat after many years of having the same old and it was rather disappointing that it wasn’t better. There are better business class seats elsewhere and may even be cheaper.
Inflight Entertainment (IFE) – 5/5
Pro – Excellent choice for all categories – plenty to keep you occupied for a long flight.
Amenity Kit – 4/5
Pro – Fairly well stocked containing the essentials such as dental kit, eye mask, moisturiser, socks, ear plugs, lip balm and even a pen.
Con – Case has a less premium feel to it.
Food & Beverage 1/5
Food
Pro – Dessert was nice.
Con – I ordered a vegan meal and it was boring and tasteless. No presentation and not appealing. This goes for both meals served during the flight. (This was also the case on my flight from London to Nairobi in their new club world suite). These were actually the worst meals I have eaten (ever). If you are vegan I suggest eating well before the flight and then taking some snacks with you or just sleep!
Beverages
Pro – Satisfactory selection
Pro – Nice glass wear. I ordered a whisky and it came in a beautiful glass which could give Finnair a run for their money.
I hope this helps you and please check out the video at Luxury.Vegan.Travel on YouTube.
