On 19th of July we had a flight form Paris (CDG)to Varna through Sofia.So we had two flights-the first one from Paris to Sofia and the next one from Sofia to Varna.We were 4 people travelling together.
The flight Paris-Sofia was scheduled for 10:15 a.m. and expected at 12:00-12:20 noon so the flight is approximately 2hours and 20minutes.The flight was delayed by 2 hours so we took off at 12:00 noon and landed around 14:30 p.m.
Our next flight from Sofia to Varna was scheduled for 15:00p.m.As it was a connecting flight with the same airline company normally they should wait for us because IT WASNT OUR FAULT that the previous flight was delayed.We did everything we could to arrive at the gate as fast as possible.Then we got to the gate it was still opened.There were two employees telling us they could not let us get on the plane.According to them we weren’t on the list for that flight.THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE.We had bought our tickets a few months before the flight and we even got a boarding passes form Paris airport earlier in the morning.They insisted that we’re were not on the list and told us that we were scheduled for the next flight at 8p.m.Except us 4 there were 10 more people with the same problem.Some of them were foreigners,families with kids .Probably the airline company had resold our tickets to other passengers.Because I could not agree that the plane would take off with more than 10 empty seats.And even more I do not belive that this error is due to a world system crash.Because the official version they gave us was “there’s a system crash in the whole world , in all of the airports”.Yes,there was such crash worldwide but this had nothing to do with it.
The 2 employees told us to go to the check in in order to receive more information.
As we arrived at the check in desk the lady working there so called ,,supervisor “shouted at us and called boarder police.She had the worst attitude ever and treated us as animals and criminals instead of clients.It was the border police who gave us much more information that the ,,supervisor” herself.
The employe and the check in desk kept the offensive attitude and told us the first possible flight she could put us on is at 14:30 p.m. the next day.So 24 hours later….Even though there was a flight at 8pm the same day and another one early in the next morning but we were put on a flight scheduled for 14:30 on 20th of July(24 hours later)While we were still arguing with this extremely rude employe a woman with a little boy (she was one of the others in the same situation)tried to say something on the topic.The rude employe’s response was:”I’m not talking to you”.
As a some kind of compensation we were accommodated in a hotel.
The next day when we arrived at the airport.The flight got delayed by 1hour and 30minutes.They kept us waiting with zero information about the flight.Istead of 14:30 pm the plane took of at 16:00pm.
Am beyond disappointed and offended.I’m a customer,I’m paying hundred of euros for those flights and I did not deserve such a rude and disrespectful attitude.As someone with self respect and someone who values it’s time and money I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Bulgarian airlines.
