“Singapore to the Land of the Thunder Dragon”
Review of Druk Air

Reviewed 1 November 2018

- The service can be warmer and better, The cabin crew seems quite cold and robotic during service.
- Seat is too hard for comfort.
- My flight was delayed for 3 hrs at Paro airport. The airline should informed passengers via SMS or email asap. I only got to know when i check in at Paro Airport and it doesn't help that the line to check in counters were very long.
- Inefficient communication

The flight left Kolkata on time at 6:50am. Seats and leg room are comfortable . Take off and landing was smooth. En route they served a food packet consisting of a small juice
a cookie and a sandwich. On the minus side- No in flight entertainment, No web check in and no seat select facility. Fare very expensive (₹ 8975 for a 40 minute flight)
Advice to Travelers: TAKE A LEFT SIDE WINDOW SEAT. So, on a clear day , you can see Himalaya range.

This Druk Air flight from Bangkok to Paro, through Kolkata, leaves super early, depending on the season. For me, it was 5 am, which is a tough schedule. But it gets you into Paro early in the morning, which has some advantages.

Flying into Paro is always fun, with so many twists and turns through the tight valleys. It's certainly one of the most exciting landings for any airport. Be sure to book seats on the left side of the plane if you can, so you can get a great view of the Himalayas on the way in.

The food was decent, but the coffee was bad. Stick to water. Service was pleasant and friendly.

Clean and punctual flight. Only lasted about 1 hour, so no food. The crew were helpful and also gave running details of views of mountains.
