We tend to use Easyjet at least annually for a European holiday as we live close to Gatwick and this airline serves a good range of destinations at reasonable value for money. We then book hotels independently. Their website is easy to use and you can clearly compare dates and prices of flights. These days you can also prebook even their normal seats so there's no stress to be at the gate first.
We had a brand new plane for this trip so all clean and in good working order with decent leg room in relation to flight duration. On the way out it seemed to take forever for the drinks service to move down the aisle and we were only around row 9 but that was our only minor complaint. The flight departed a little late but caught up with its scheduled arrival which usually happens and I think we landed a little early on the return.
We were stunned to find we were being flown home by a female pilot friend of my other half who popped down the aisle to say hello when she took a break from the cockpit mid flight. She also gave us a nice smooth landing! Well done Capt Myers!!
