The flight itself was very good---on time, even landing early. We booked premium economy on the way to Spain and regular economy on the way home. Both were comfortable. The flight attendants were all very polite, and both classes were served quite a bit of food on the long flight. We printed out our boarding passes ahead of time and had only carry-on bags, but apparently you still have to wait in line to see an agent, even if you aren't checking bags. They have to check passports, but unlike other airlines I've flown Iberia doesn't do this at the gate. So allow plenty of time! Even if you think you can go straight to the security checkpoint you can't. On the return trip we had to board a tram that took us to the airplane, but there was no directions given about whether to use the front or rear staircase of the plane, so it was just kind of a free-for-all, with people trying to get by each other in the tiny aisles, and of course it was just gridlock at some points. It would have been helpful to have a flight attendant saying everyone in row 1-27, you need to board in the front. Everyone row 28 and up use the back staircase. I would definitely fly Iberia again, but would allow extra time at the airport.
