“Fine not great business class”
Review of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

747s were great planes in their time. Compared to 767 Dreamliners they are dated, like an old, comfortable hotel that has been updated.

KLM are attentive to passengers and provide refreshing refreshments. The staff have a sense of humour and they were great with my kids, particularly one of my sons who wants to be a pilot.

Took several short flights within Europe recently ( 2 hours) . Aircraft were not new but appeared to be well maintained. Staff were professional, and helpful. Snacks provided were of good quality. Flights were on time. For short flights you don't expect lavish extras but for short haul flights, KLM provided pleasant basic and reasonably comfortable consistent service.

Mostly everything was great. Here are my suggestions for improvements. The 787 doesn't offer individual a/c. The temperature is controlled by the flight crew. It was a little too warm for the duration of the flight. The comfort + seats do offer more leg room, but the seats themselves are not any more comfortable. a 9 hour flight is a long time to be uncomfortable. the airline needs to make the seats more bearable on the long haul flights. The food was airline food. So, it isn't the greatest. Like the previous 2 complaints, I doubt this is going to change either. However, it would have been nice if they offered gluten free options.

Excellent, comfortable flight with Cityhopper. Very spacious seats and leg room, extremely friendly cabin crew. A great way to fly! BTW, this was my first flight on Cityhopper and I can't wait to fly on Cityhopper again. Wonderfully uncomplicated. The same was true of my return flight four days later.
