Review of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

I flew economy with an upgrade to economy plus. There used to be a time when paying extra money for this upgrade was totally worth it. This time, not much extra room, tiny earbuds that don’t fit in my ears, they used to give you ear phones in this class....
I’m very disappointed because this was my favorite airline company, and now, I don’t know which airline I’ll travel to Europe...

Same as usual, you do not fly KLM for quality on board, but for reliability. Even you do pay extra for confort seat, the seats are very small and unconfortable. The food is very poor: no choice, cheap and not tasty at all. The stop-over in Taipeh is very disturbing, you have to carry all your stuff out of the plane and line up for security control to get back on the plane.

One of the affordable way to fly business to Bali from Singapore. Lots of Dutch travelers as it is a fifth freedom flight. The service was expected of a European airline. Food was slightly above average. Every business class passengers get a delft house with gin inside.

Best European Airlines so far, better then Air France, Lufthansa or others...
To compare to other I prefer Air Korea, JAL, Thai Air, but for European destinations
is a good value..95% on time;

I was very pleasantly surprised with the overall experience. Past few years I have only been using Emirates. But as the tickets are getting pricey, wanted to try out other options. KLM offered the best price and connectivity options.

The planes were not new but clean and decent. Food was good and very good. I was surprised with the great service. Previously had bad experience with European carriers but not so with KLM.

The Schipol airport was great as well. Very helpful staff, clean and neat.

Will now keep flying KLM for this sector.
