“Take this air taxi for short trips”

Flying from Pekanbaru to Palembang proved to be quite an experience. The nice thing is you do not get off in Jambi but may have to change seats for your next destination in Palembang. The entire flight is dry, not even water let alone a cup of coffee. Coming into Palembang was bumpy with high turbulence due to cross winds, pilot correcting bearing and height at last moment. For short trips it is okay to fly Lion.

Travel Tip: Do your bathroom stops well before boarding.

“Strictly No-Frill”

Before you do your ticketing with Lion Air (Except for Malindo), do know well that no matter how early you decide to cancel your flight, you will NOT get a refund on it. Definitely has better and more leg space than its competitors. It also has a 15 kilo free luggage allowance which separates it from the others of its kind.

Sometimes miss the schedule badly. Not sure if I would recommend.

“Definite No Frills Airline”

We had taken Lion Air for a domestic transfer in Thailand, from Phuket to Bangkok, which took about 60mins. If you are looking for the cheapest option, this might be the airlines for you. It was less than half the price of what other airlines offered. No delays as such, flight took off and landed on time. No WiFi on board (Nok Air does provide this facility). Not the most comfortable seating, but was fair enough (for people taller than 6feet, it could be a little difficult). While seated in the flight, I saw the staff throwing luggage into the flight. Fragile tag on a luggage, did not help. Saw them literally throwing and banging luggage. If you have something precious or something that can break, please take it with you as cabin baggage.

P.S.: Free baggage allowance of 15kgs as checked in baggage. Plus cabin baggage allowed.

“Late Is Our Name "LION" AIR”

I already check-in online from website, on the date we went to check-in counter for only drop baggage service, they were very slow we 15 person (with 12 suitcase wanna drop baggage) its take about one and a half hour.

original flight was 18:15
announcement for delay until 19:25 .. (at 19:15 no announcement and gates still not open yet until 19:40), after long queueing from the gate to downstairs and take the bus for about 5-7 minutes then stop right in front of the aircraft parking, then queuing up to get into the plane and looking for a place to sit as stated on the ticket. waiting time in the plane almost about 40-45 minutes to prepare to fly.
The journey takes approximately 1 hour 50 minutes.
Instant food sold on board not much choice and not many in number, from the row 1 has not reached until row 5 foods that are sold already out of stock. very bad. we all hungry because haven't dinner yet.

Jakarta slow 1 hour than denpasar local time.
Arrival safely in Jakarta Soekarno Hatta Airport - Terminal 3
We waiting for Luggage for 1 hour 30 minutes.
Total we take around 5-6 hour just for delay aircraf and waiting for luggage.
Very Poor Service aircraft

Price does not cheat quality, you get what you pay for.
Will not recommended this aircraft to others.
