“Baggage handle broken”

On the way from bombay india via muscat oman air on board flight the travel was pleasant even after several times request for water arrived late .
ON arrival at london heathrow my baggage handle was broken on collection I did requested for claim but refused and advised to feedback online .
Online support was not great refused to accept claim mentioned no wear and tear but my bag handle was broken due to troughing the luggage and this has stress me out as this was just 3 yrs old bag very disappointment by the service over all

Good flight but hopeless customer service.
We booked and paid for extra legroom seats from the pictogram on their site. The reality was very different. we had cramped seats with no legroom against a bulkhead.
We had an acknowledgement of our complaint from customer services, then in spite of three further requests we have been ignored.

Prior to purchasing my tickets, I contacted the call center seeking confirmation on a couple of points, on which they reassured me.

After purchasing my tickets, it turns out all the information I was provided with was incorrect, leaving me and my husband hundreds of dollars out of pocket.

Oman Air only provided an apology without taking any accountability nor honoring their word.

I have been flying intercontinental for decades and never came across such poor customer service and complete disinterest from a carrier.

First of all, the Dubai-Phuket flight carried out with a full plane and with only two bathrooms available for a 6-hour flight. Endless queue for the toilets and even the Crew agreed on the incorrect management of the flight. I also had to cancel my return flight scheduled for 12/31/22 and by phoning the customer center in Bangkok they told me I would get a refund of approximately $250 per ticket (2) Following my countless requests for reimbursement, they later informed me that I was not entitled to anything and that at most I could use the canceled flight without specifying the date of use. But the terms of the contract instead provide for the partial refund based on the IATA conventions but this company has not yet solved my problem. At this point I will contact IATA and consumer protection associations.

Firstly I personally think that Oman Air should be considered among the top class middle eastern airlines and without a doubt best value for money. I completed this journey over 2 legs. DXB to MCT, MCT to LHR.

The fact that they offer light food on an hour flight shows very good customer care where a lot of airlines would charge a fee or not even have an option. The second leg was over 7 hours and the flight was made very comfortable thanks to the service, cleanliness and leg room. The 787 aircraft was brand new with dimmable windows. Again, the flight started off with snacks and a drink (some airlines have omitted this), followed by a meal and tea/coffee service and finished with a sandwich and cake box.

If there is one thing to improve, it would be the onboard entertainment, but this is me being very picky. Overall a very good product and hope they can keep this up.
