Transit passengers who are checked and boarded from Doha is pulled out and checked again with a single scanning machine.
it takes 2hrs in queue the flight is delayed just because of airport which is not capable to handle passengers.
Never ever travel on this airline and route.

When we already boarded the plane from Brussels to Doha, we were informed that there is a technical issue with the plane. The staff tried to fix it for 4 hours, it was super hot on the plane and nobody had a reliable information what's going to happen next. Finally we took off. We arrived to Doha with a big delay and I missed my connection flight to Nairobi. Had to spend 17 hours in Doha waiting for next flight. Had to reschedule my business meeting and safari. I filled a complaint form, asking for eligible compensation according to EU rules. Qatar airlines is treating me, like I don't exist. By phone they tell me that I need to contact them by email. My emails they are ignoring for 4 months. Online chat is absolutely useless. At the same time I receive tonnes of add Fly with us again. Never again. Actually the was awful. But it's details.

Very bad experience I would rate Qatar airways worst airline ever louzy customer service,December 23rd we were suppose to fly from YUL to DXB visa DOH our flight was at 9:00 PM kept us in the plane till 4:30 AM flight cancelled and they announced that we'll collect our luggage and get the info from the counter what will be done then another announcment we cannot open the door for the luggage will keep them in the plane,after leaving the plane and arriving home at 7:30 AM text message that the departure at 8:00 PM they suppose to have the luggage in the plane,arriving to DXB we received only 2 luggage out of 6,made the claim and we were su[pposed to receive the luggage next day at our address in DXB never happened no update calling their luggage claim no answer,sending emails ne response,went to the airport couple days later found one of the luggages in the room don't know why they kept it their plus the louzy attitude of the employees and the lack of customer service,2 days later received one bag and 3 days later received the 5th one,after sending them several emails and letting them know that I'm flying back home to YUL on January 10th they delivered tha last luggage to my address in DXB on January 13th,they promised of compensation because of the delay which I never got,I've been asking to deliver my luggage to YUL no response,compensation for the delay no answer.
I don't recommend Qatar air ways stay away from this terrible airline.

Our flight was aborted due flooding at Auckland Airport.
22 hours later the airline has not advised a replacement flight
Nor have they provided any food or drink in spite of several assurances.
They also promised assistance with overnight accommodation but again nothing.
We have been told to find a hotel - they are all full.
We are elderly, and infrail with heart conditions and having to attempt to sleep on a hard floor !
Appalling and shades of the World Cup infrastructure record of this Country

lost my bags on layover in Doha. Trying to reach customer services for some sort of compensation but they do not reply to my emails. Has been 12 days now..

Flight was delayed when departing from Melbourne also - purely because of understaffing at check in. I was at airport 2.5 hours before boarding and check in took the entire time.
