Booked to travel in June 2018 but unable to fly on the date booked and had paid up front.... when I tried to amend the flights, Ryan Air wanted to charge me significantly more money to change flight dates, than buying new tickets off their website would cost. Totally outrageous, especially as they would sell on the original tickets. Was on hold for over an hour, rude and unhelpful operative whose only advise was to go on line to sort.... tried live chat.... all they did was sent me a link to the website I was already on!!!!

Rating re trip relates to previous and last!! Trip with Ryan air!

We booked Ryanair , because there is a direct flight to. Rome Ciampino
This takes less than 1.5 h and by cap from the ex military base via via Apia to downtown Rome is flat € 30,which is written on the cap doors.
So no cheating.
This airport is much smaller than
Fuomigino and less chaotic. Price
are reasonable , service is on the knuckles as with every cheap airline
So you have your sandwich or foccacio bought in advance , if you want a snack.
Of course most of the flights are packed
So it’s basic transportation and not more.

Well it was ok given the low cost but it seemed that the personnel seemed to try and sell you merchandise instead of serving any requests!

we flew with Ryanair on the 5th of December to Tenerife and back again on the 19th of December 2017, from start to finish everything went smooth. The Air Crew were lovely
friendly and efficient. no delays, no stress, just perfect.

Let me say from the outset that the actual flight was fine with the exception of the lousy coffee they sell on board.
My beef with Ryanair is their awful ground service. Sure, they advertise that this is all done on line but what this means in reality is that they abandon any provision for customer care at check in. Ostensibly all this is taken care of by Swissport staff. They are truly the worst. I was fortunate enough to have a member of Manchester Airport Staff try to assist me but even she was shocked by the way the Swissport baggage check in person spoke to me. He was indifferent to my needs to the point of being rude and vicious about it. By the time I did get sorted, no thanks to him, I was too late to get to the gate unless I coughed up £50 for priority boarding. Extortion on top of egregious customer care. A truly stress inducing experience. Pay a bit more, if necessary, and use a different airline.
