Was able to get a nice seat on one of their newer planes, little more leg room and space. Same thing on the way back, but not as much space(old plane). The service was good and didn’t have anyone in the middle seat, so that made the two hour flight.

When you think airlines these days its just a matter of God please get us there safely. Airlines seem to be cutting back on cost in all ways possible. Southwest was just a refreshing change.

I actually got 2 checked bags, a whole can of juice and could have had more than one snack if I wanted. Also the flight crew was very service oriented and fun.

Another new feature (for me) was the open seating policy. Seats were not assigned; you are assigned a boarding group (A, B, or C) and a boarding position (1-60) and you sit where you want. If you have specific seat preferences try and board early (group A or early group B (1-30).

We travel on Southwest frequently and are most satisfied with the service. This flight was so different. The flight was delayed, then there was a gate change. The new gate area was very congested and many travelers were confused because another flight to Sacramento was scheduled to leave from this gate just before our flight. Our flight finally began to board those passengers who needed special assistance. Soon they were taken off the plane and we were told there was a mechanical problem. This delay was not long and we finally arrived in Sacramento about one hour and 15 minutes late. The original delay and the gate change appeared to be a Seattle airport problem caused by heavy air traffic. We were kept informed by Southwest staff about the delays and connecting flights. For us this circumstance was unusual and we will continue to book flights on Southwest.

It doesn't get any better than this! Check in was so easy, boarding was quick, orderly and efficient, there were plenty of seats to spread out and we had an on time arrival. The flight attendants were pleasant and our luggage came super quickly. Kudos to Southwest

Always on time, courteous, no mess and no frills. It is totally worth it to pay the $15 and get a good seat.
