flight was OK, check in was catastrophic , 1H30 waiting to drop the luggage. there were 10 automatic desks, no one was running properly.

this was a non sense at Orly airport, may be 5 persons to take care of 500 passenger.
the automats were not working properly.

At the far too busy Transavia check-in counter, many people were not wearing their mouth masks, or were wearing them incorrectly. These people were hardly spoken to, it felt very unsafe. In the plane, there were also many people refusing to wear a mouth mask. They were addressed while laughing, with absolutely no effect. These people often ordered a bottle of water so they could just sit there without a mask because they were tolerated with a bottle in their hands. Completely irresponsible, 0 supervision. No wonder that infections of travellers are on the rise again!

The employee of Transavia at the checking desk in rude form rejected our negative PCR test with irrational statement that she will not allow us to travel. When we called support service Transavia they confirmed that our documents are fine, same was said on the governmental website of Netherlands. However regardless all performed proofs she rudely rejected to serve us and hide her ID, so we will not able to know her name.
Surrealistically we lost our tickets and flew with same PCR tests next day.. no money refund or even apologies from Transavia.
I am still in shock what was that and how is it possible.

We changed our flights a couple of times due to Covid and as a result in last one our dog was not checked in on the return flight a gentleman at the counter went above and beyond to help us even looking for us outside after we were told we cannot fly and have to rebook, he got us on the flight was very pleasantly surprised at the understanding and professionalism… we fly all the time with Transavia and will continue doing it.

The check-in was a bit disorganized on the second trip but overall the service was great, with a very quick boarding and the flight went very well. The cost of the tickets and the quality of the service is excellent.
