United Airlines lost my luggage that I was supposed to have with me during a 20 day business trip. It took them 6 months to just partly reimburse the expenses I had to incur while in the USA, and they never reimbursed the original value of the luggage. And I took business class?? What about the time I lost and the frustration I went through? Never again.

AA is the “best” we have to offer then we are screwed. Why use the best when they are the worst. Use the worst for less money.

Entire plan passengers waiting for hours for flight attendant to show. Many people lost international connection because of a no show flight attendant.

We paid $1000 more per Premium Plus ticket for the 16hr flight to Cape Town. Boarding and disembarking we great. The cabin was nice with just 3 rows of 2-3-2. The seats were comfy although the leg rests and extensions combined were a bit awkward. The extra leg room was good although not much more than in Premium economy. Large screens and viewing options.

The biggest downfall was the food and drinks service. Food was just okay although nice to have metal cutlery. During the 16hr flight to Cape Town we were not offered any water (unlike usual 8 hr flights to Europe when they regularly pass thru with water). This was unacceptable, luckily l had taken a small bottle with me - on the return trip all water was taken from passengers as they embarked but we were offered bottles of water 3 times.
The plane had 4 toilets in the middle of the plane for all passengers except Business class. On the trip over the toilets were in a rough state by 8 hrs in to the flight.
I guess most of my complaints are with the flight to Cape Town rather than the return so this could be a crew problem....?

Not sure if we will pay so much extra on our next trip unless United contacts me with an explanation for my observations.
I guess if you can easily afford the extra then give it a try but don't break the bank!

My flight was delayed 2 hours and some change, they changed the gate when I was already at the one that we were supposed to and every 30 min they kept changing the boarding time which to me is a strategy to keep you and by the time is so late there isn’t any other flight or option. I like the service on the plane but time is money and I would definitely not going to use this airline anymore.
