“Restful Experience”
Review of Virgin Atlantic Airways

Reviewed 19 July 2019

Very smooth flight with very accommodating flight attendants. The layout of the reclining seats were nice, but there's no comparison to the comfort and privacy of Delta's 747 business class. Meals were ok..had my eye on the burger sliders was offered a vegan wrap or a sandwich..which I opted for ..It was a very large dry bun with one extremely thin slice of roast beef and a piece of cheese.I know this sounds petty, but when you pay thousands for an 8 hour trip,I would think they could a bit better planning.

When my family of five (including three kids ages 7, 10 and 13) got home from our two-week trip to London and Wales, I seriously considered emailing Richard Branson and saying thanks. The flight, the attention to detail, the food, the drinks, the high level of service and just about everything I can think of associated with the flight itself was extremely impressive.

We took a straight flight to and from LHR and while LHR and Seatac airports have some issues in terms of their standards for arrivals and departures, the 9.5 hours on the plane itself was great. Free movies and games kept the kids and parents entertained throughout, and the food was excellent (not just by airline standards, either). Others I've talked to about Virgin Atlantic rave about it as well.

It truly is a first class experience, no matter where you happen to be sitting.

First time flying Virgin Atlantic. It starts with a colorful section from which they serve wine/champagne, food, snacks, almost continually. The trip felt like an ongoing party. Staff were friendly and didn't look tired as many airline staff often do. I've told my friends to fly this airline for the fun experience. The plane was clean, new, and electric ports at each seat for charging your equipment. Movies were quality and fairly new. Great airline, give it a try.

Just come back from Orlando, we flew at 5.35pm (there time) which meant we got in at 7am uk time. I am a bit nervous on planes but gotta say this was a great flight. We where on a jumbo and it had over 400 customers on. We had selected our seats, we where by the toilets but this meant we had no one behind us so we could put our seats back all the time. Good selection of films to suit us all, food not that great. I don’t know why they bother with the breakfast bar as hardly anyone eats it. All the staff we saw worked very hard, very professional. Bit of a nightmare getting of as we had to wait for a space, and people push you just so they can get off early, there should be a better system for this.
