This shouldn’t even be called airlines. It’s a flying taxi service. Don’t expect any hospitality you experienced from other airlines. They only offer juice and water for flights from Mumbai. Flight attendant named David was super rude and patronizing towards brown passengers which isn’t surprising given the history of Britishers.

I recently flew Virgin Atlantic from Cape Town to London on VS479 (G-VBOW "Amazing Grace") in economy class, and I had high hopes, especially since it had been over 20 years since my last Virgin flight. I was looking forward to reliving the vibrant, distinct experience I remembered, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to expectations this time around.

While the crew was as lovely and attentive as ever, the aircraft itself felt a bit tired and uninspiring. The cabin design lacked the energy and unique touches that once set Virgin apart. The food and entertainment options were acceptable, but nothing about them really stood out. In fact, the entire experience felt surprisingly standard—reminiscent of a British Airways flight from 10-15 years ago rather than the bold, exciting Virgin vibe I remembered.

It’s a shame, as I was really hoping for that fun, signature Virgin experience. Here's hoping they bring back that unique flair in the future.

Flew from Heathrow to Goa via Bangalore. When I landed in Bangalore one of my luggage was missing along with few other people so filled up missing baggage form and went on my onward flight to Goa. I received a call after 2 days in Goa that my baggage was found and was asked to collect it as there was no delivery service available and was given a link to claim for taxi charges to the airport. I was told that it was delivered to a different airport in Goa to which I landed upon arriving at this airport which was a 2 hour drive each way I was told that it had arrived at the airport I initially landed at. It was very stressful with my kids and the whole day was wasted. After arriving back to the U.K. I filled up the claim form and have received a message saying o cannot claim for taxi charges. Never expected this from virgin. Terrible service, the chat agent lied to me about claiming expenses. It wasn’t my fault and have to be out of pocket due to their incompetence.

Worst leg room I’ve had long haul, also inattentive cabin crew - didn’t respond to buzzer on the 3 times I tried (I was stuck with a sleeping passenger in aisle seat refusing to stir!) I thought it was meant to be better but there’s more leg room on EasyJet!
