Clean aircraft and smiling staff but,
Poor communication about delays (twice out of 3 flights);
Rather messy boardings;
Expensive snacks on board, and not very good;
But cheap flights...

We departed on schedule and arrived a bit before schedule. Food and service was OK. Waiting time for our luggage was OK

We flew Vueling this month and honestly don't understand why they have had such bad reviews. The check in was smooth, including the 2 bags we checked. I had printed our boarding passes before flying and had no delays or issues.
The flight staff were helpful, very friendly and our checked bags went through absolutely fine and were waiting for us by the time we'd got off at the other end.
I was nervous before flying because of the reviews I'd read, but I would definitely fly with them again.

If you want to know absolutely nothing about what is happening to your flight - Fly with Vueling!

We took a flight to florence, and Vueling are one of the onyl people to fly from Gatwick (our local airport) so we took a chance - we will never fly with them again.

We boarded only to be told after cross checks that the plane was not safe to fly and we had to get off. They said a 2 hour max delay but after being put off and put off with no information and a load of bollacks from the vueling website the flight was cancelled. No one to talk to vueling at the time. We were offered another flight the following day and we were put up in a pretty awful hotel overnight, but were given no money to get food or drinks during the delay.

The following day Vueling had not actually sent an aeroplane for our flight so it was delayed by another 4 hours. Lost a full day in Florence and no compensation!!! No appology from Vueling. And to throw salt in the wounds - we were offered a complimentary drink on our flight when it eventually got on... WATER!!!!

Flight to Florence cancelled with no reason given. Vueling rebooked me on a flight to Rome with assurances that buses would be available to take us to Florence. Arrived Rome 00.30 to find no buses, and nobody to ask. Eventually lady at Information desk was able to arrange the buses and we left at 03.10 on very uncomfortable coaches.

The return flight was delayed by an hour. I will never use this airline again however cheap the flights. Simply not worth the hassle
